Breen’s began with a simple idea — good people, good food, and a place where everyone feels welcome. Founded by John Breen as a small gas bar and convenience store, the business quickly became part of the community. When the second location opened, John’s mother, Joan, saw potential in the large kitchen space. She started baking fresh bread, pies, and other homemade goods — and soon after, the family began cooking whole turkeys to make hearty, homemade sandwiches and soups.

What started as a family tradition became a local favorite. The smell of fresh bread and cooked turkey became the signature of Breen’s — a place known for homestyle, hearty, and comforting food that feels like it was made just for you.
